was born to Jim and Betty Kinser in Victoria, Texas January 9, 1952 and grew
up in Kansas City, Missouri. He has a sister, Deborah Kinser Martin, and a half-brother, David Van Eaton. After
migrating back to Texas as an adult he finally wound up in Odessa where he and his beloved wife Christine raised their
daughter Geri.
Sadly, Christine Kinser lost her battle with breast cancer in February 2004,
and Dan remained single until 2008 when he married Mary Sarowitz, a high school classmate. Geri married video game developer
Clint Bogue in 2007 and two years later gave Dan a granddaughter, Addison. The most cultured member of Torn Page, Dan's
ability to be objective over some of the songs Arley and Joe have gotten jaded to after playing them for decades has been
instrumental in preventing them from being over-produced.
