“These
are increasingly uncertain times in the publishing business, and it has never been more difficult to break out a new author,”
an editor at a major publishing house informed me after spending eight days deliberating on A Tale of the Mojave.
It was a nice way of saying he’d decided not to take a chance on it because its controversial content
didn't jive with what's in fashion. All the major publishing houses are seeking writers who follow current trends rather than
taking a chance on anything novel (excuse the pun) by an unknown penman.
Ergo, I decided to self-publish through the company that handles the band. And since people from all
over the world visit Torn Page’s website, and I’m the only author on here, hey, I’ve got the market cornered,
heh heh.
Thanks
for dropping by and hope you enjoy!
